Safety Management - Intern/Co-op Positions
Brasfield & Gorrie is recruiting students interested in internships as well as cooperative education opportunities in the construction safety industry with a general contractor for the spring, summer, or fall semesters of 2027. Students will work closely with our in-house safety department to aid in the successful setup, execution, and closeout of construction projects.
Our goal at Brasfield & Gorrie is not only to engage students and teach them about the day-to-day activities of a true general contractor safety manager but also to assist in training and educating them to potentially become future successful employees with our company.
Construction operations responsibilities and duties may include the following:
- Implement the Construction Safety Management Program initiatives
- Assist in the development and acceptance of job hazard analysis (JHA), Site Safety work Plans, Public Hazard Analysis, and Environmental Management Plans.
- Engage in Site safety inspections, coordinating corrections with all contractors.
- Review and oversee procedures for the investigation of construction related incidents and accidents.
- Provide general safety oversight and performance of both administrative and field safety management responsibilities.
