AI Business Operations Intern
Social Studio The Agency is a Miami-based marketing agency built and run on AI tools most companies still have not figured out. This is an unpaid, for-credit educational internship built to teach college students how a modern small business runs using AI. This internship puts you inside how we actually operate: client management, business development, and the AI workflows we use to run the business day to day. You get real-world experience by shadowing our team in Miami, completing guided learning projects, and getting regular feedback from agency leadership. Interns do not replace or displace paid staff.
Why this internship is different
- Work alongside a team that partners with high-profile influencers and fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands
- A rare look at how a modern, AI powered agency actually operates day to day, not a textbook case study
- This internship is built for applicants who already use AI tools regularly. You will be applying real AI workflows already in use at the agency and going deeper with them, not learning AI from scratch
- Standout interns may be considered for a paid role with our team or placement with one of our partner brands. This is a possibility, not a promise. A paid role or placement is never guaranteed
Cool things you'll get to work on
- Build and test AI workflows that automate real tasks, like lead research, reporting, or scheduling
- Help design a prospecting system that finds and qualifies new clients using AI
- Sit in on real strategy calls where we decide which AI tools and workflows to adopt next
- Walk away with your own AI automation mini project you can show off in future interviews
- What you will learn
- How a real agency operates day to day: operations, client management, sales, and decision-making
- How to go deeper with the AI tools and workflows employers are hiring for right now (research, scheduling, reporting, and automation)
- How businesses find and qualify new clients (business development basics)
- Organizational and project management systems used in professional settings
- How to communicate professionally with clients and teams
How the program works
- Weekly training sessions and one-on-one mentorship with agency leadership
- Real, hands-on experience sitting in on operations, client, and planning conversations, always under close supervision
- Guided learning projects (for example, building a practice AI workflow or a sample prospect research list) reviewed with written feedback
- A final portfolio piece you can use in future job and internship applications
- We work directly with your school to set learning objectives and complete any evaluations your credit program requires
