Accounting Intern

Job Title:  Accounting Intern

Department: Finance Department

Reports to: Finance Department Manager

 

Summary/Objective 

HA. Automotive Systems is seeking to hire an Accounting Intern that will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing company credit card reconciliation, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role involves maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, preparing reports, and supporting financial planning and analysis activities to aid decision-making.

 

Essential Duties include but not limited to:

  • Perform credit card reconciliations by reviewing transactions, verifying supporting documentation, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring accurate posting in the general ledger.
  • Prepare and fill out monthly reports, including portal data review and verification, ensuring completeness and accuracy before submission.
  • Assist with intercompany transaction reconciliations, verifying balances, preparing adjustments, and ensuring proper elimination of entries for consolidated reporting.
  • Maintain and compile financial records, including invoices, receipts, journal entries, and supporting schedules, in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and related schedules.
  • Assist with audit requests by organizing and providing supporting documentation as needed.
  • Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in accounting operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager, supporting various accounting functions and special projects.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 months of accounting experience.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software (SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel).
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with team members, management, and external stakeholders. Mandarin is required.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
