Website Design Internship
Website Design Internship
Sharing the mission and impact of Cards for Hospitalized Kids (CFHK) with new audiences is an important part of expanding the organization’s reach. Through public relations, media outreach, and collaborative initiatives, CFHK has opportunities to connect with communities across the country, highlight the people who make its work possible, and encourage others to get involved.
CFHK has been fortunate to develop relationships with media outlets that have helped share its story through local, national, and international coverage. These stories range from larger features about the organization’s mission to local coverage of students, schools, libraries, and community groups participating in card-making initiatives. Each provides an opportunity to increase awareness of CFHK and further its impact.
In addition to sharing stories about CFHK, media outlets and influencers have also participated directly in card-making activities and other initiatives. These collaborations allow partners to demonstrate their commitment to giving back while introducing CFHK to their audiences through interviews, social media posts, and other forms of engagement. Expanding these partnerships and creating new opportunities for media organizations and influencers to become involved is an important part of CFHK’s continued outreach.
The Website Design Internship will focus on developing these opportunities through updating graphics and information about the non-profit on the website. Interns will help identify compelling stories, connect with potential media and support local and national press opportunities, and explore creative campaigns that encourage broader participation in CFHK’s mission.
