Credit Research MBA/Graduate Internship – Investment Grade & High Yield - Summer 2027

POSITION DESCRIPTION

A Fixed Income Research Intern is offered the opportunity to support the research and analysis functions across public investment grade and high yield. This position will have daily interaction with portfolio managers, directors of research, and senior research analysts across the fixed income teams.  We are seeking candidates with a strong interest in a career in fixed income and a knowledge of investment analysis.  Qualified candidates will have excellent analytical problem solving and communication skills in addition to strong academic achievement.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide research support for analyzing and underwriting bond investments.   
  • Monitoring credit risk and performance of existing investment holdings.
  • Perform independent research on industries and sectors within fixed income market.
  • Participate and contribute to all aspects of the investment process including meetings with issuers and management.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completed first year of graduate program with a demonstrated history of strong academic performance.
  • Working knowledge of accounting, finance, corporate strategy, real estate and financial statistics.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, decision-making and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to take work direction from various leaders as well as work independently.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite including Excel.  Experience with investment tools such as Aladdin and/or Bloomberg is a plus.
  • Ability to work full time during the summer (May-August).
