Venture Capital and Investor Relations Intern

Venture Capital & Investor Relations Intern

Solus Ventures | Remote worldwide | 20–40 hours/week | Unpaid

Help evaluate ambitious companies—and bring their investment stories to people who can back them.

At Solus Ventures, we focus on underwriting and investing in leading companies across AI, aerospace, defense, and frontier technology, including opportunities involving companies such as SpaceX, Anduril, Anthropic, and OpenAI.

You’ll work directly with founder Connor Cinquegrana to research these businesses, help present investment opportunities, and identify influential investors who could back them—from Fortune 500 CEOs and leading family offices to billionaire founders, venture capital and private equity partners, and senior banking executives.

What you’ll work on

  • Understand the companies: Support research and underwriting by examining business models, markets, competition, and growth opportunities.
  • Tell the investment story: Help turn research into compelling company presentations, investment summaries, and meeting materials.
  • Find the right investors: Identify and research accomplished founders, executives, family offices, and investment firms whose interests align with each opportunity.
  • Build investor relationships: Prepare thoughtful outreach, support investor conversations, and manage follow-ups as relationships develop.
  • Work directly with the founder: Contribute to investment and fundraising priorities while using AI tools to improve research and execution.

Why join

Get hands-on exposure to how private-company investments are evaluated, presented, and funded. Develop your investment judgment, learn to communicate with sophisticated investors, and take meaningful responsibility on a small team working across some of technology’s most consequential sectors.

Who should apply

Current college students are welcome. No completed degree, specific major, minimum GPA, or prior venture capital experience is required.

We’re looking for curiosity, initiative, clear communication, and reliable follow-through. If you’re fascinated by technology, investing, and the people building influential businesses, we’d like to hear from you.

Details

This is an unpaid, part-time internship requiring approximately 20–40 hours per week. It is remote and open to US and international applicants. Expected start: September 21, 2026. Duration is open-ended.

How to apply

Complete the Solus application form with your resume. Your initial application is complete only after you submit the Google Form. Selected applicants may then be invited to complete a short 10-name investor exercise.

Potential personal investment opportunities

Strong performance may also lead to opportunities to invest personally alongside Solus in companies such as SpaceX, OpenAI, Anthropic, and others, subject to availability, investor eligibility, and applicable requirements. Access is not guaranteed and would require your own capital.
