Compensation

Healveda Care is currently pre-revenue and cannot offer cash compensation for the initial development phase.

This is a founder-level opportunity intended for a physician interested in building the clinical foundation of a high-impact autoimmune healthcare company. An equity-based and/or deferred-compensation structure will be discussed and documented before work begins.

No patient care, laboratory ordering or clinical-result management will begin until the appropriate agreements, licensure, malpractice coverage and safety infrastructure are active.

The laboratory tests have already been selected.

We are not searching for someone to replace the founder’s work or invent another panel. We are looking for a physician leader who can help transform an established testing model into a safe, executable and scalable clinical program.

Patients are often given results without coordination, context or a clear next step. Healveda is building the infrastructure between the laboratory result and responsible patient follow-through.

The Opportunity

The Founding Medical Director will work directly with Healveda’s founder to establish the clinical governance required for an initial autoimmune laboratory pilot.

During the pre-launch phase, this position will focus on program design, physician-level validation, patient-safety standards and launch readiness.

Following funding and operational activation, the selected physician may transition into Healveda’s formal compensated Medical Director role under a separate clinical-services agreement.

This is not a ceremonial title. It is an opportunity to influence how a new model of autoimmune testing and longitudinal health tracking is built from the beginning.

Initial Responsibilities

Validate the Existing Testing Model

Review Healveda’s established laboratory inventory for clinical appropriateness and patient safety.

Recommend whether individual tests should occur at baseline, monthly, quarterly or only when clinically triggered.

Identify preparation requirements, contraindications, duplication risks and circumstances requiring individualized testing.

Document any medical-necessity concerns without unnecessarily replacing the established model.

Establish Clinical Governance

Develop patient eligibility and exclusion criteria.

Define informed-consent and patient-education requirements.

Establish standards for normal, abnormal, urgent and critical results.

Create escalation timelines and closed-loop follow-up requirements.

Define which responsibilities belong to the ordering clinician, Medical Director, laboratory partner, specialist and patient.

Build the Laboratory Pathway

Help convert the existing laboratory inventory into executable order sets.

Advise on Quest, Labcorp and laboratory-integration options.

Identify questions Healveda must resolve regarding pricing, specimen collection, test codes, redraws, reflex testing, turnaround times and electronic-result delivery.

Recommend an appropriate model for physician authorization and clinical review.

Guide Healveda’s App Development

Translate the clinical process into clear requirements for Healveda’s developers.

Advise on ordering workflows, scheduling, result ingestion, trend tracking and clinical-review queues.

Establish guardrails for patient notifications and urgent findings.

Review patient-facing laboratory explanations for accuracy and safety.

Help ensure the platform supports clinical judgment without making unsupported diagnoses or automated treatment decisions.

Prepare the Pilot

Help design a controlled initial pilot for approximately 25–50 participants.

Establish launch-readiness and patient-safety criteria.

Define pilot measurements, including test completion, turnaround times, redraws, abnormal-result response and follow-up closure.

Identify failures that must be corrected before expansion.

First 90-Day Outcomes

The initial development period should produce:

Physician-validated version of Healveda’s existing testing program

Testing-frequency and patient-eligibility framework

Laboratory-ordering and results-review model

Critical-result and escalation protocol

Laboratory-partner recommendation

Clinical requirements for the Healveda app

Pilot-readiness and patient-safety checklist

Roadmap for transitioning into live clinical operations

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Active, unrestricted United States medical license
• Nevada licensure or a realistic pathway to Nevada licensure strongly preferred
• Relevant training or experience in rheumatology, internal medicine, family medicine, clinical immunology, endocrinology, pathology or complex chronic care
• Strong understanding of laboratory interpretation and patient-safety monitoring
• Ability to distinguish clinical responsibility from wellness education
• Commitment to evidence-informed medicine, patient autonomy and closed-loop follow-up
• Willingness to work directly with an early-stage founder and help build responsibly from the ground up

Important Clinical Boundary

• During the pre-launch phase, this role does not include:
• Signing patient laboratory orders
• Diagnosing or treating patients

• Managing urgent or critical findings
• Providing on-call clinical coverage
• Those responsibilities will begin only after the required clinical agreements, licenses, insurance coverage, laboratory relationships and operating procedures are formally established.
