Landscape Gardener Location: York, England, United Kingdom Work Model: Onsite Employment Type: Part-Time, 20 hours per week

The role

We're looking for a reliable landscape gardener to join our team in York. This isn't a desk job — you'll be outdoors, doing real physical work across a variety of gardens and green spaces. The work matters because our customers trust us to keep their outdoor spaces looking their best, and that starts with the person on the ground.

What you'll do

- Carry out hard & soft landscaping & general garden maintenance- Work directly with customers on-site, understanding their needs and keeping them informed - Assess each job and use your own judgement to complete tasks to a high standard without needing constant supervision - Maintain tools and equipment in good working order - Work safely and efficiently across different outdoor environments

About you

- Physically fit and able to carry out manual, outdoor work in all weathers - Reliable — you show up, you follow through - Good communicator, comfortable talking with customers face to face - Able to work independently and apply your own initiative when problems arise - Some experience in gardening or landscaping is preferred, but a genuine enthusiasm for the work counts for a lot

Nice to have

- Formal horticultural training or relevant qualification - Experience with a wider range of landscaping tools or techniques - Full UK driving licence
