About the Opportunity

We’re seeking polished, professional, and service-oriented Waitstaff and Bartenders to support a private faculty club within a well-known and prestigious institution.

The private club serves as an elegant gathering place for faculty, administrators, and professional staff and hosts a variety of social functions, meetings, and special events. This is a professional, relationship-focused hospitality environment where discretion, attentiveness, and a high standard of service are essential.

This opportunity is ideal for hospitality professionals who enjoy providing thoughtful, personalized service in a refined setting rather than a traditional high-volume restaurant environment.

Please note: This is a non-tipped position. The hourly rate of $20.00–$21.00 is the full compensation for the role.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome members and guests with a warm, polished, and professional demeanor.
• Provide attentive and personalized food and beverage service.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and respond professionally to guest requests.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to service standards.
• Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining a polished presentation.
• Set up, stock, maintain, and break down dining and bar areas.
• Clear and reset tables and maintain a clean, organized environment.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, beverages, specials, and dietary accommodations.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Accurately process orders using a POS system.
• Work collaboratively with culinary and hospitality teams to provide a seamless member and guest experience.
• Assist with event setup, breakdown, opening, closing, and side work as assigned.
• Maintain professionalism and discretion when interacting with members, guests, and colleagues.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a server, bartender, or hospitality professional preferred.
• Experience in private clubs, hotels, fine dining, catering, corporate hospitality, healthcare hospitality, or similar professional environments is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable providing service in a polished, member-focused environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs.
• Knowledge of responsible alcohol service and basic beverage preparation preferred.
• Ability to remain calm, organized, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Flexible availability and willingness to accept per diem shifts.
