Field Install Technician Intern
Huntington Analytics installs AI assistants for local businesses on a small Mac computer in the owner’s office. Someone has to set it up, make sure it comes back after a power cut, and help the owner get started. That’s this role.
As our Field Install Technician Intern, you’ll:
→ Set up and test client computers on site with our install checklist, working alongside the founder at first
→ Check networks, backups and power-cut recovery, and document every install
→ Visit clients for problems that need someone in the room
→ Help owners connect their own accounts: they type their own passwords, and you never hold them
→ Improve the install checklist after every visit
What we’re looking for:
→ Comfortable with Macs, networking basics and troubleshooting
→ Patient and friendly with business owners who aren’t technical
→ Reliable transportation for visits around Huntington; mileage is reimbursed
How we work: our AI agents and our team prepare drafts, and nothing goes to a client or the public without the founder’s approval. Our agents work only for the business owner, never with the owner’s customers. Interns never hold client passwords. This is a paid, part-time W-2 position.
Good fit for computer & information technology, cyber forensics & security, or computer science students. Paid at $15/hour for about 10 hours a week, scheduled around your classes, hybrid in Huntington.
