Position Summary

The Accounting & AI Automation Intern will support the Accounting organization by combining a strong foundation in accounting with curiosity about artificial intelligence, process improvement, and automation. • Document inputs, decision points, exceptions, controls, required human review, and expected outputs for proposed automated processes.
  • Validate AI-assisted outputs against source information, investigate discrepancies, and clearly communicate limitations or risks.
  • Prepare presentations and recommendations that explain the accounting problem, proposed approach, expected value, controls, and lessons learned.
  • Own a meaningful summer project and present the work during the internship capstone experience.
  • Participate in team meetings, manager check-ins, internship programming, and other development experiences.
  • Perform other duties and project work as assigned based on evolving business needs.
