Materials Management Internships - Summer 2022

What you will be doing:  
 
During the year we are building a repository of important projects for you to tackle. You will own 2 or 3 projects at the same time and work in multiple locations – plant floors, plant offices, our global business center (headquarters). You will work both individually and in teams.
 
These cross-functional projects will be dedicated to the following and will make valuable contributions to the organization by:
  • Saving time
  • Improving Lean processes
  • Cost savings
  • Inventory accuracy to improve quality
  • Data analysis
 
What You Bring:
  • Are you a puzzle master or someone who is an analytical problem solver?
  • Are you curious and ask questions to learn and grow?
  • Are you okay with ambiguity and capable of making a tough decision?
  • Are you often described as tenacious?
  • Are you confident to share your point of view and speak with employees from all levels?
  • Do you have an understanding or willing to learn about Lean?
 
Qualifications:
  • Majors: Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Applied Engineering, Data Analytics/Economics, Industrial Operations Engineer, Industrial Engineer
  • SAP background preferred, but not required
  • We prefer Sophomores or Junior
 
Your Future Team:
We invite you to join this fast-pace team of about 60 employees with a daily morning stand up meeting. A good portion of the internship is spent on the floor of the plant. We hope you’re early rise as our shift is from 7:30-3:30pm.
