Today, just under 2000 people groups, 145 million people, still don’t have the Bible translated into their languages! Wycliffe USA believes the Word of God can transform lives when people hear it in their own language or form, and we urgently need you to join the team!
Job Location:
This job requires full-time onsite work in one of Wycliffe USA’s many openings in Africa, Asia, Europe, Americas, and the Pacific. Regardless of where you work, you must be legally authorized to work in the United States as per U.S. employment laws.
Every day on this job brings new challenges with rewarding long-term achievements as you work with a language software team. You’ll employ your best technical skills to develop, write and test computer programs that facilitate Bible translation work that ultimately touches countless people.
This job might be for you if you…
- Have a degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- Are somewhat familiar with using the Agile approach to software development in Windows systems.
- Have a thorough knowledge of C#, .NET and Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Work well in a highly collaborative environment.
- Demonstrate the desire and ability to support corporate biblical and religious goals and participate in regular work-related spiritual activities without reservation (Spiritual Bona Fide Occupational Qualification).
It’s a bonus if you have…
- Some related industry experience.
- Some knowledge of web development.
- A drive to stay abreast of current technology and to improve your skills.

Wycliffe Bible Translators is a faith-based organization, and as supported staff (missionary) you will receive a non-traditional salary (including benefits and ministry expenses) through the faithful giving of your personal partnership team. We provide extensive training and resources as you build your financial and prayer partnership team.
Non-traditional salaries are needs-based determined by factors of housing and personal expenses based on geographic location, including dependents and their ages, retirement savings, ministry expenses and taxes. Although salaries vary significantly and it’s not possible to provide an exact number for this position, a typical non-traditional salary for a missionary household is $42,600 to $80,982 annually. These salaries do not include your partnership-raised funds for health insurance, worker’s compensation insurance, or Wycliffe assessment.
