APEX EXPERIENCE INTERN JOB DESCRIPTION
WHAT WE’RE HIRING FOR
Apex Systems is looking for individuals with a passion for people and strong work ethic. This Internship is perfect for anyone eager to start their career and learn the basics of recruiting and sales. Our interns will have hands-on experience and the ability to contribute to the recruiting and sales cycle. Don’t worry about having previous recruiting experience, our comprehensive Intern training program allows you to learn terminology, job functions, and applicable practices within the information technology industry. Training will be combination of classroom style learning, shadowing, and presentations giving our interns the opportunity to interact with all departments of Apex. Dependent on the global pandemic, the first week of training will either be held at Apex Headquarters in Richmond, VA, or virtually. After the initial training our interns will spend the rest of the summer working closely with the managers and assigned mentor in the branch or National Delivery location.
At the end of the Apex Experience Internship, our interns will take away the following:
• Strong understanding of the technology services sector and staffing industry
• Ability to utilize established proven recruiting resources to attract qualified professionals interested in contract and contract-to-hire employment
• Experience presenting job opportunities to qualified candidates and negotiate contract terms
• Ability to successfully screen candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions
• Experience networking for new business opportunities and referrals
• Strong personal networking and branding skills through LinkedIn
