Software Engineer, Early Career

Job Responsibilities 
We are looking for an ambitious embedded software engineer to work on the requirements, design, implementation, integration and test of embedded software for our airborne mobility terminals. Our team develops commercial mobility software which provides satellite internet in-flight connectivity to several major airlines in the US and abroad. We are working to provide high-capacity global satellite broadband coverage with our next generation satellites.
Additionally, we implement new wireless waveforms and protocols to deliver high-performance audio and video streaming at-scale for commercial airlines and business jets. Our team also engineers new software features to harden our software from security attacks.
In this role, you will be exposed to meaningful, high-visibility projects which drive industry-leading software solutions.
Requirements
*Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science & Applications, Computer Science & Computer & Systems Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Computer Science & Mathematics, Computer Science & Network Security, Computer Science & Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering & Computer Science, Math & Computer Science, or a related field
*Exposure or desire to work with Automation, Embedded SW & Scripting
*Previous experience coding in C, Python, Linux shell scripts, bash, make
*Knowledge of proper software development methodologies
Preferences
*Previous internship experience in software development and/or test related areas
*Exposure to Network Programming and Networking fundamentals, Network Security, Virtualization, Systems Programming
