Job Responsibilities
You will be working as an Operations Intern on the Field Operations team, which supports Viasat’s US residential internet line of business. Viasat’s US residential internet provides fast, reliable internet across the US, including to under-served rural areas. On the Field Operations team, you’ll learn how we bring our customers online. You will be instrumental in analyzing and implementing initiatives to improve our level of service and execution. This includes goal identification, KPI analysis, and creating business cases.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing, Technology Management, or related field
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Desire to obtain an internship position with Viasat
- Ability to commit to a 10-12 week summer internship
Preferences
- Knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, and/or Tableau
- Currently pursuing a Business/Finance degree and/or having prior business/operations coursework
