Job Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer Intern supporting our Advanced Networking & Cyber Security line of business with our Government Systems business segment, you will be working on software defined networking / routing platforms and services. Employing your existing knowledge of enterprise protocols (EIGRP, VRF, OSPF) and tools (VPNs, VLANs, DLEP) to tailor commercial techniques of SD-WAN to the defense marketplace and operations.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, and/or a related field
- Experience with C/C++ and Python
- Ability to commit to a 10-12 week summer internship
Preferences
- CCNA and/or CCNP Certification
- Prior experience working with virtualization (ESXi, KVM) and/or container technologies (e.g. Docker/Kubernetes)
- Prior experience with automation scripting (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.)
- Prior experience with network traffic generators (Spirent, Ixia, etc.)
- Knowledge/Experience of cloud platforms: Amazon, Openstack, Microsoft’s Azure, Google Cloud Platform
- Experience with UI
