Job Responsibilities
Our Global Broadband Operations - End-to-End DevOps team is responsible for measuring and improving the performance and resilience of our global broadband network. We look to highly instrument and automate the process of monitoring network performance, validating software and configuration changes, and orchestrate the validation and deployment of our releases to our production systems.
By joining our Global Broadband Operations team, you will contribute to the development, deployment, and operation of commercial and in-house built software for monitoring and managing our worldwide fleet of satellites and ground systems. You will have the opportunity to work across a diverse set of products and problems.
Requirements
*Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
*Knowledge of fundamentals: algorithms, software design principles
* Python
Preferences
* Understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
* Knowledge or experience with deployment tools such as Amazon Web Services, Git, and/or Docker
* Containerization experience
* Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) training or experience
* Agile software development process experience
* Experience with software feature design
