Intern - Associate Business Process Analyst (Dispatch)
Are you interested in combining business minded thinking and creativity while starting an internship in the gas distribution industry? Dominion Energy is looking for a creative, business minded candidate to work alongside a variety of business units in the Distribution Technical Services division. This business unit plays an important role in the company. Being a part of the Distribution Technical Services team allows employees to collaborate with colleagues, improve processes and increase the use of technology, while supporting technical services activities through innovative thinking and increased marketing efforts. The internship will provide exposure to key areas of dispatch operations. The intern will be exposed to basic network operations including key business drivers such as pipeline safety and environmental compliance, customer management, employee safety measures, and sustainability initiatives. The intern will have the opportunity to participate in technical training classes along with craft employees. Projects will be assigned that will assess the intern’s ability to analyze data, prepare reports and business presentations. This opportunity calls for an individual to not only learn about the business, but develop creative and innovative ways that move the company from a traditional utility, to a progressive innovative industry utility leader.
