Inside Sales Specialist

Luminator is seeking to fill our full-time Inside Sales Specialist role to join our growing and dynamic Sales team where you will be an integral part of the team by providing valuable input as we work toward assessing and implementing goals and mission of the department and Luminator. This is an opportunity to be part of something new and exciting within Sales Operations.

Summary:  
The Inside Sales Team is less than two years old and is growing! If you are currently an SDR or have 1-2 years inside sales experience and want to move into a full-cycle sales job let’s talk! This is a great opportunity to get into something new and exciting within Tech Sales!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Consult with established and new customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs
  • Build and maintain solid pipeline full of short- and long-term opportunities
  • Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process
  • Acquire technical skills and gain product knowledge to become a true resource for your customers
  • Research and discover methods to increase customer engagement with Inside Sales Manager
  • Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met
  • Work closely with Inside Sales Manager as well as the outside sales team and other departments
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts in Salesforce
  • Achieve monthly sales goals for new contracts and revenue contracted
  • Developing relationships & following-up with clients
  • Focused on obtaining new and selling into existing accounts
  • Occasionally required to attend trade shows and networking engagements
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Adept at developing meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Ability to understand and demonstrate Luminator Product Suite and services to the customers
  • Passion to constantly improve sales skills to increase sales success rates
  • Experience responding to inquiries and requests from current and prospective clients as well as conducting over the phone and virtual consultations/presentations of our services
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software required
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
  • Hands on experience with Salesforce or other CRM software

Education/Experience:
  • BBA/BS degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products, specifically Word and Excel required
  • At least 3 years working in an inside sales or sales-related capacity
  • Sales experience in technology, or aerospace industry highly preferred

  • Much of your time will be spent in an in-office environment, with the ability for hybrid work after your first 90 days
  • Standard office working days/hours, with infrequent requirement to meet with clients outside standard hours
  • Physically required to regularly walk, sit, bend, twist, stand and reach in a normal office environment
  • Constantly required to stand, walk, bend, twist, overhead lift and reach in a varied field environment
  • The employee may occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to perform constant work on computer
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job are close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
  • Travel up to 25%
