AWS Cloud Support Associate Intern

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is the market leader and technology forerunner in cloud services. Our Cloud Support team provides technical support to our customers across the globe. We are looking for technical interns to help accelerate our growing Cloud Support business. What you will do: The Cloud Support Associate Internship is a training program for the Cloud Support Associate role. Interns in this program benefit from the opportunity to gain experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, load balancers, and S3 storage solutions. They collaborate with AWS engineers and their peers in a virtual classroom to learn about AWS services and practice troubleshooting techniques. You’ll have an opportunity to apply your new skills through customer case simulations.

Upon successful completion of the internship program, select interns will receive a full-time offer to join as a Cloud Support Associate. Are you ready to embrace the challenge? Come build the future with us.

Amazon internships are full-time (40 hours/week) for 12 consecutive weeks, starting May-June 2023. Applicants should have at a minimum one quarter/semester remaining after their internship concludes, with a graduation date between December 2023 and August 2024.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in an Associate or greater undergraduate degree program (e.g., Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree) with a graduation conferral date between December 2023 and August 2024
  • Experience with at least one functional scripting language (e.g., Perl, Python, Ruby, shell scripting)
  • Experience or coursework in networking
  • Experience or coursework with operating systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of internet fundamentals and cloud computing concepts
  • Familiarity with Database, Storage, and Big Data concepts
  • Experience troubleshooting networks (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, routing, switching, firewalls, LAN/WAN, traceroute, iperf, dig, cURL or similar/related technology)
