Student Associate Program - People Acquisition (Las Vegas)

JOB TITLE: People Acquisition Student Associate (Las Vegas)
DEPARTMENT: People Acquisition
SUPERVISOR: Senior Manager, People Acquisition

ROLE SUMMARY:
As a People Acquisition Student Associate, you will learn from and assist the People Acquisition department with recruitment and campus relations efforts. This role is for an individual with strong communication and organizational skills looking for the unique opportunity to work on projects relating to the Student Associate Program, venues recruitment, and full-time recruitment processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Screen and source resumes using our Applicant Tracking System and various other career sites
• Schedule interviews with hiring managers
• Generate and maintain offer letters and complete all administrative work associated with new hires, including background checks, onboarding paperwork, and orientation information
• Attend career fairs and information sessions based in Las Vegas
• Assist with resume review for full-time and seasonal venues employment and enter resumes into applicant-tracking system to generate appropriate correspondence
• Partner with People Acquisition on strategic planning and special projects as needed
• General administrative duties will include phone coverage, filing, and calendar maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• High level of professionalism and enthusiasm
• Great people skills and comfortable speaking over the phone/Zoom
• Ability to multitask
• Positive attitude and willing to help wherever needed
• Proficient in basic computer programs (i.e., Microsoft Office/Excel)

Preferred:

• General interest in Human Resources or relevant employment/classroom experience
• Previous experience and interest in recruiting
• Involvement in a variety of campus activities

STUDENT ASSOCIATE REQUIRMENTS:
• Undergraduate candidates with a class status of junior or above or graduate candidates
• GPA of 3.2 or above
• Provide a letter from your school verifying enrollment
• Available to work a minimum 21-hour work week and a maximum 35-hour work week (35 hours required for the summer semester)
