Communications & Engagement Summer Intern

The Otis World Headquarters Digital Technology Internship Program provides valuable exposure to the broad range of digital and technical functions within the Otis business while allowing early-in-career talent to build on their skills, knowledge, and experience. Each intern has the opportunity to work closely with a Digital Technology team to deliver real results in the areas of business, technology, and process/project management throughout various operating countries.
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Research and develop content that highlights the impact of our technical solutions
- Identify opportunities to leverage stories and examples using internal and external communication channels
- Build a strategy to execute specific stories in the right way, at the right time and to the right audiences
- Perform Stakeholder Analysis which informs decisions about who should be consulted or informed about important initiatives related to data
- Stay curious to explore data and analytics, specifically around passenger traffic, equipment sensors, and market data
- Conduct oneself with confidence when working with executives and critical stakeholders – additional coaching will be provided to ensure you are successful
Education / Certifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, PR, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or other Information Technology concentrations
Basic Qualifications
- Ability to work in a highly team-oriented and dynamic environment
- Candidate must demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Needs to be self-motivated and able to manage several simultaneous projects and responsibilities
- Excellent analytical skills are required
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in big data and analytics
- Experience with communications
