Mgr- Enterprise Info Systems

The Manager of Enterprise Information Systems is responsible for the daily performance and availability of the organization’s enterprise applications infrastructure as defined in the departmental services portfolio. They are responsible for the activities of incident management, problem management, change management, and SLA management. The Manager of Enterprise Information Systems will analyze systems and recommend upgrades and changes, assess the organization’s current and future networked application and data storage needs, coordinate activities to ensure proper and timely completion of approved engineering changes, and act as representative of the IS Infrastructure Services team as a whole. The Manager of Enterprise Information Systems is responsible for the quality and the timely completion of all team projects. They coordinate work requests, technical project and resource planning. They will act as the technical project lead by establishing project assignments, priorities, timeframes and milestones. Ensures project timeframes, milestones and objectives are attained.
Responsibilities:
• Plans, directs, and coordinates the development, implementation, integration, education and ongoing maintenance, improvements and monitoring of IS systems. • Provide or obtain estimate of resource hours and update resource plans in NLH planning system. • Works with leadership on overall prioritization for assignment of resources. • Provide feedback, evaluation and recognition of assigned staff • Serves as role model and coach in quality customer service. Establishes appropriate expectations of customer service within assigned areas and monitors and ensures the delivery of quality customer service. • Uses project management methodology as appropriate and acts on occasion as a technical project manager, to develop and maintain project plans, assign resources and track and report activities. • Participate in development and adherence of departmental budget. • Participate in recruiting, hiring and orienting of new staff. • Builds relationships and regularly works with customers along with vendor representatives, to determine their needs and ensure that existing and future applications meet organizational needs and support the NLH strategic plan. • Promotes and encourages continuous professional development of assigned staff and self. • Establishes productivity and quality control standards to monitor and improve performance. • May perform other duties upon request.

Position is eligible for on-site and working remotely.

  • 3+ years of relative work experience required.• Minimum three years healthcare or IT leadership plus staff supervision.

Education
  • Required Bachelor's Degree. Eight years of experience beyond the position's minimum experience requirements will be considered in lieu of degree.
