We are seeking an engineer or scientist to develop inventive, ground breaking solutions for challenges related to workforce development, understanding the brain, and accelerating learning. As a research engineer or scientist, you will...
  • Primarily conduct research to engineer practical solutions for understanding the brain and accelerating learning and engagement.
  • Contribute to state of the art research and author and present your work at leading academic conferences and workshops.
  • Engage with sponsor and user communities to understand critical needs and assess the practical impact of your work.
  • Develop novel data science and machine learning approaches to address important national challenges.

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...
  • Have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a science, engineering, education or related domain.
  • Are skilled in or have knowledge of data science, artificial intelligence and/or problem solving techniques.
  • Can demonstrate the ability to communicate complex ideas orally and in technical writing.
  • Can demonstrate that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.   • Possess practical experience working with communities that are traditionally underrepresented in STEM.
  • Have a proven understanding and demonstrated knowledge of applied computer science or data science skills at an advanced level.
  • Have experience working in a collaborative environment
  • Are passionate about and experienced in developing open source research software.
  • Possess a Master's degree in a related discipline.
