Information Systems Paid Resident Internship @ Camp Weequahic
Camp Weequahic, a co-ed residential summer camp in Northeast Pennsylvania, is looking for 2 more staff to work in our program office, while earning college credit. This position is for people who are dedicated, enjoy an adventure, work independently well, have good experience on excel, have a systems brain and can complete administrative tasks in a detailed manner. Management Information Systems, engineering or computer science majors have been a great fit in the past. However, any major is welcome to apply.
This is primarily an administrative and operations opportunity supporting our 50 programs, 450 campers and over 100 counselors and activity specialists. Your work is dynamic and really makes a difference helping us create an amazing summer for each person we encounter.
Interns can expect to gain experience:
- analyzing data, sorting, making inferences for program implementation
- working in a team setting
- communication
- ability to think holistically about business processes and how to make improvements towards them
- leadership skills
- problem solving skills
No previous experience is necessary. We will train you and craft your experience to meet your learning goals. And we work in a super fun environment with 200 other people your age from around the globe.
** All past interns have used this summer job as an excellent resume builder and major talking point when demonstrating transferable skills to their full time work.
