Intern-Systems Administrator
The Systems Administrator Intern will install, configure and support the servers, network, and end-user systems. Monitor servers, network, and end-user systems to ensure security and availability. Perform necessary maintenance/updates to servers, network, and end-user systems. Participate in continuous learning to stay with current technology changes.
Responsibilities:
Support the IT team in maintaining hardware, software, and other systems.
Assist with monitoring alerts and resolving issues.
Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
Organize and maintain IT resources.
Lend IT support in areas such as cybersecurity, programming, analytics, and data center management.
Learn how to run basic Linux commands.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in one of the following preferred majors: Computer Science, Engineering,
Information Technology, Management Information Systems.
Familiar with computer operating systems.
Experience in developing strong work ethic with coursework, professional networks, or internships.
Flexibility and fluidity to thrive within a rapidly evolving environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills required.
Attention to detail is a must.
Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.
