Branding Policies & Procedures Document Intern

The Branding Policies & Procedures Document Internship is an exciting opportunity to work within the Clinical Services department of Maximus.

The ideal intern will have detail-oriented document branding and updating skills plus a background or interest in learning about clinical services. An understanding of the policies and procedures followed by medical clinicians (such as therapists, nurses and and other healthcare providers) is an advantage. Guidance and training on document revisions will be provided by the Manager. Undergraduate and graduate level students are encouraged to apply.
 
BENEFITS / COMPENSATION:
Hourly pay range is competitive and commensurate with education and experience. Interns are eligible for benefits. All computer equipment and access to digital systems will be provided to the hired candidate. Students may also complete the internship for academic credit subject to the qualifications of their academic program.   
 
PROGRAM DETAILS:
This position requires a commitment of 40 full-time hours per week for the duration of a 10-week summer program: starting Tuesday, May 30th and ending Friday, August 4th, 2023. This role is 100% remote and the team is located in the Central / Eastern time zones, but applicants from all zones will be considered.
 
Interns will also participate in a curated program of workshops and events-- Learn from our leaders through our executive guest speaker series, continue to grow skills through our professional development workshops and build meaningful corporate connections through our summer networking events. We traditionally culminate our program with a celebration of National Interns Day in late July and by spotlighting a special project / working group activity that all interns will contribute to and complete for presentation.
 
Job Description Summary
-Remote position that requires focus on assignments during usual business hours (8 AM – 5 PM ET)

-Overall, as a member of the Knowledge Management team (less than 5 members), providing support to all teams in the Clinical Services Division to ensure individuals can complete their jobs accurately and efficiently through well-written documentation

-Complete assigned tasks in a variety of Microsoft Suite tools, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

-Collaboratively research, identify, anticipate, and meet the needs of various teams, including Operations, Quality, Training, and IT

-Independently complete assigned tasks, such as revising existing documents or creating new documents following corporate, division, and team standards and templates

-Attend weekly Knowledge Management team meetings, coaching sessions, and other ad hoc meetings with various teams as needed to complete assignments

-Provide support in administering the Knowledge Management repository system, which is currently PowerDMS

- Work on assignments that are moderately difficult and escalate issues to Knowledge Management Manager

-Effectively and professionally communicate using different modes, such as Microsoft Teams, email, and phone
Job Summary

Minimum Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a college degree in a related field.
- Must have completed a minimum of 2 years of coursework.
- Skilled in standard computer applications and platforms such as Outlook and MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to juggle multiple priorities with superior attention to detail.
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Strong interpersonal communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
