Analytics Intern- Summer 2023

Job Summary
As an Analytics Intern, you will have the opportunity to enter into a partnership with AssuredPartners and develop Information Technology skills. The IT Intern assists in multiple learning opportunities while being mentored by top leaders throughout the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office.
  • Contributes to the design, build, and documentation related to the build of a cloud-based enterprise corporate datalake.
  • Performs research and analytical work related to agency management systems being ingested into the datalake.
  • Builds and maintains data quality rules templates against raw and harmonized data for accuracy and completeness.
  • Builds and tracks data quality metrics through Snowflake and Power BI to properly remediate / track status at the agency level.
  • Works closely with IT Manager to learn processes for resolving technical/functional issues related to code sets.
  • Researches and recommends improvements to processes and applications where applicable.
  • Assists leaders in analysis and tracking of data requirements.
  • Monitors reporting and execution timelines.
  • Assists with project and initiatives as needed and assigned by IT Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel is expected to be negligible in this role.

Qualifications

  • Working towards a degree (Associate, Bachelor or technical certification) & currently enrolled and in good academic standing. Preferred majors include: Information Technology, Computer Science, or Data Analytics
