Duties:
- Perform data entry and coding in Google Sheets/Excel.
- Perform visual assessments of previously reported best management practices (BMPs) at developed sites (housing developments, businesses and parking lots, etc.). May include contacting landowners; photograph features & take notes on measurements and severity of features, e.g., erosion, pipe intakes and outfalls, & inadequate vegetation;
- Enter these results in field form and spreadsheet and import into ArcGIS map;
- Interact with landowners and others at sites.
Preferred:
- Environmental, biology, agriculture, GIS classes;
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation with mileage reimbursement;
- Ability to walk over uneven and wet terrain carrying water, tape measure, camera & clipboard;
- Willingness to work in hot or rainy conditions outdoors.
