Business Development Intern (Summer 2023)

Goza, a new dating app, is seeking a proactive and dynamic Business Development Intern to join our team.

As a Business Development Intern, you will work 100% remotely and play a key role in developing a business expansion plan, conducting market research on dating and dating apps, and creating business strategies to drive Goza's branding and development leading up to the app's expansion in New York City and other major cities.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth market research on dating trends, customer behavior, and competitor analysis to identify potential opportunities for Goza.

Assist in creating and implementing business strategies to achieve Goza's business goals and objectives.

Help develop and execute a business expansion plan to increase Goza's reach and user base.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective marketing campaigns and initiatives to enhance brand awareness and user engagement.

Assist in conducting user surveys, user testing, and market research to continuously improve the user experience.

Provide regular updates to the management team on progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and potential opportunities.

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business, Marketing, or a related field, (is preferred but not required)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a remote team environment.

Experience with conducting market research and analyzing data is a plus.

Passionate about the dating industry and staying up-to-date on the latest dating trends and technologies.

Detail-oriented with excellent time-management skills, able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.

This is a part-time, remote internship position.

The Business Development Intern will report directly to the Founder & CEO and work closely with other team members to ensure the success of Goza's business efforts. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about business, interested in the dating app industry, and looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment.

Students who can commit 20+ hours/week are eligible for paid stipends. Interns unable to meet this requirement can intern for credit.
