JOB TITLE: Insight & Analytics Student Associate

ROLE SUMMARY:
As a Student Associate, you will help drive reporting and data analysis, as well as support our Director People Practices Insights & Analytics in day-to-day activities. This role is for a trustworthy individual with strong communication and analytical skills eager to work on a broad range of HR functions such as HR data analysis, report creation and automation, and helping to test HR technologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Partner with business stakeholders to define their business intelligence needs and develop solutions for delivering against them
· Collaborates on the development and maintenance of dashboards to provide human capital analytics to business leaders that leverage data and employee-focused metrics to enhance business decision making for the company and their respective business units.
· Optimize existing data visualizations and other self-service tools to provide actionable insights.
· Set up tools and processes or effective data management.
· Leverage full range of Tableau platform technologies to design and implement production ready solutions and create advanced BI visualizations.
· Partner with enterprise data architects to define data requirements for business intelligence visualizations and tools
· Develop and provides documentation, training, and support for clients.
· Champion utilization of business intelligence technology across functional roles throughout the organization
· Perform data analysis and identify business trends that can be turned into actionable insights
· Communicates findings to department and business leaders via formal presentations and provides standard reporting on a periodic, quarterly, and/or annual basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· SQL experience, Tableau Python/R or statistics background is a plus.
· Ability to translate complex data analysis and research principles into terms that can be understood by a broader audience.
· Skilled at manipulating and managing large, complex databases, spreadsheets and queries and generating organizational metrics to assist with business decisions.
· Microsoft Excel skills, including proficiency with pivot tables and data analysis functions. Proficiency using Microsoft PowerPoint.
· Strong desire to learn new things/processes and pass knowledge acquired onto others
· Keen attention to detail with strong quantitative and analytical skills and demonstrated capacity to solve problems and enhance reporting
· Strong relationship skills and ability to build alignment among customers and key stakeholders with demonstrated experience influencing without authority
STUDENT ASSOCIATE REQUIRMENTS:
· Undergraduate candidates with a class status of junior or above or graduate candidates
· GPA of 3.2 or above
· Provide a letter from your school verifying enrollment
· Available to work a minimum 21-hour work week and a maximum 35-hour work week (35 hours required for the summer semester)
