Physical Therapist - Brooklyn
We are actively seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to join our team.

- Provide quality care to patients by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; establish physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with referring physicians.
- Implement treatment based on evaluative findings and physician referral
- Perform all appropriate physical therapy procedures utilizing state of the art manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education and functional training to help restore patients to their prior level of function.
- Administer adjunctive physical therapy procedures such as therapeutic modalities and assistive device training to manage pain and enhance recovery
- Evaluate the effects of treatment and modify care on an ongoing basis in order to maximize recovery
- Assure continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing effective home exercise programs.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient records.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to standard safety protocols.
- A valid New York physical therapy license and registration
- Experience working in an outpatient musculo-skeletal practice preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients
- Ability to interact and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and administrative staff
- Desire to grow professionally and to demonstrate utmost professionalism in all aspects of job performance
Access to a broad range of patients. Opportunity to work directly with Doctors. Acess to a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions. Will evaluate and treat patients through manual therapy, therapeutic training, neouromuscular training, and functional training.
Schedule - Monday-Friday, 7:00am-7:00pm (This schedule is flexible)
