Pay Rate
Hourly rate between $27.88 and 32.00.
Hours/Shift
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
Job Summary
Receive and respond to intake calls or contacts:
- Explains role of EAP, services and confidentiality.
- Obtains and records intake case information in Care Management System
- Assess crisis situation and take appropriate action.
- Provide in moment support as appropriate and assists to access resources.
- Provides delivery of services to EAP members and our client:
- Provides information and schedules clients requesting EAP services.
- Provides EAP consultation, recommendations and brief assistance.
- Provides members with appropriate referral based on clinical needs and insurance when clinically appropriate.
- Facilitates access to services and community resources.
- Provide consultation to client leadership on concerns about employee safety or workplace behavior.
- Consult on and manage mandated or formal referral to the EAP.
- Follow up with members, the client and/or service provider, following EAP standard procedures and confidentiality law, as needed to support job members to meet conditions of return to work/continued employment.
- Documents all contacts with clients and pertinent others accurately, completely, and concisely.
- Provide EAP related workshops or training, crisis /urgent intervention as may be needed and appropriate, and Disruptive or critical event responses as may be requested.
- Provide other Employee Assistance services as assigned including case management of special needs, high risk and other company-initiated referrals.
- Provide on location and/or telephonic services including assessment, crisis-intervention, consultation with Human Resource or other client company leadership, and brief support to members.
- Collaborates with colleagues and others to ensure compliance with SOP, to provide excellent member service and experience, and to support professional operations and environment.
- Participate in regular supervision and consultation as needed /appropriate to any case.
- Develop and maintain familiarity with Health Advocate EAP Standard Operating Procedures as demonstrated by the delivery of service and performance of duties.
- Maintain reliable attendance and timely arrival being ready to work as scheduled.
- Maintain licenses in good standing, and related credentials if applicable.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by Director
- Meet objectives for services or Executive management.
- Travel to regional client locations as necessary.
- Flexibility of work hours to deliver services to other staff /shifts or provide DEM support as may be needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Education: A Master’s degree in a behavioral health discipline required (social work, counseling, or related human service field).
- Professional License: State License (Professional Counselor, Marital/Family Therapist, Social Work).
- Certifications: Desirable, not required: CEAP, CADC, NBCC.
- Experience: A minimum of three years graduate level experience, providing direct service in a behavioral health setting including assessment and case management.
- Experience providing presentations, consultation with team and company leaders and brief interventions is preferred.
- A combination of graduate and bachelor’s level experience including behavioral healthcare, Employee Assistance or work with Occupational health or a community healthcare system will be considered.
