Disclaimer: This position is expected to start around August/September and continue through December/January. Internships are in-person for 40 hours a week for a minimum of 12 weeks. Please consider before submitting an application.
International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week. Many students will be limited to part-time depending on their academic standing.

About the Team
Specialize in network engineering in a global enterprise environment. This role will provide network engineering, implementation, analytical, and operational support. The Network Engineer Intern will help ensure compliance to established system architecture, regulations and security policies, follow standards and best practices, and author and maintain support documentation.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with Staff Network Engineers on design and initiatives.
- Maintain current network solution within manufacturing, workplace, retail, and data center environment.
- Function as a Tier 2-3 escalation point.
- Requirements gathering, analyze, and propose solution to networking needs.
- Provision, implement, test/validation, and maintain networking services per solution design.
- Conduct product POC evaluation.
- Monitor, analyze, and report metrics of network services.
- Document network knowledge base and operational “Run-Book.”
- Participate in on call rotation (potential weekend).
What You’ll Bring
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field of study.
- Experience with mid-large global enterprise networking infrastructure.
- Familiarity in IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols (spanning-tree, OSPF, BGP), TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, end to end QOS, VLAN, VRRP, LACP, MC-LAG, EVPN with VXLAN, ACL, application flow, NAC, and infrastructure cabling.
Other pluses:
- Experience with multi-vendor switching technologies including Juniper, Arista, and Cisco.
- Extensive experience with Juniper SRX and Palo Alto Networks firewall services including IPSEC VPN, URL filtering, and IDS/IPS.
- Experience with various tools such as Protocol Analyzer, SNMP, Netflow, IPAM, RADIUS, Splunk, network taps, and load/stress testing.
- Experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metrics
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- CCNP, JNCIP preferred
