IVF Coordinator
The primary function of this position is to ensure our patients receive the ultimate care experience during their IVF or egg-freezing journey, from the appointment request until the day of service and beyond. Attention to detail, respect for privacy, and customer service are required. Background in healthcare and degrees in biology or other related sciences preferred.
Job Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments for patients to complete their IVF, IUI, or egg-freezing cycles.
- Assist with clinical care of fertility patients, including but not limited to communicating physician instructions to patients.
- Assists clinical and administrative teams in various capacities, including but not limited to answering phone calls, compiling medical records, and following up on emails.
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing patients with emotional and psychological support.
- Provides excellent customer service while educating patients on cycle types and catering to patient needs.
- Case manages an extensive patient portfolio.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Strong patient service experience, communication, and relationship-building skills required.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized, with good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to function independently and as a team player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment required.
- Demonstrates ability to use PCs, Microsoft Office suite, and general office equipment (i.e., printers, copy machine, multi-line phone, FAX machine, etc.) required.
- Must be an enthusiastic, positive, and approachable individual.
- Experience using multiple clinical computer systems and applications preferred.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare operations preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
