Accounting Intern 36489

Position Summary

This dynamic role will provide a foundation for applying theory from the classroom to hands-on practical application in a corporate environment. The Accounting intern will have exposure to corporate accounting, financial projects and business processes. This is a unique time to join STERIS as we continue to grow globally and establish a lean philosophy to business processes. 


Duties

1.  Create and post journal entries
2.  Balance sheet reconciliations
3.  Assist with month end Oracle reports
4.  Assist with gathering audit requests 
5.  Fixed asset documentation/adjustments including preparation for tagging locations, changes as needed in subledger.
6.  Assist with the preparation of ad hoc and other internal reports
7.  Assist with other projects as needed


Education Degree

  • High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience

1.  Currently enrolled in college with a major in Accounting
2.  GPA 3.0 or above
