Lead IT Architect - ServiceNow - Remote

Overview: ServiceNow Lead IT Architect
 
Position can be Remote (Work from Home)
 
 
Duties
  • Guide ServiceNow platform design
  • Act as technical lead for new module implementation
  • Work with internal business units to implement process improvements using the ServiceNow platform.
  • Work with leadership to create roadmap of ServiceNow future state.
  • Act as technical lead for ServiceNow upgrades.
  • Work with internal teams to design advanced automations using Powershell, SSH, Rest, SOAP, and other technologies.
  • Design integrations with ServiceNow platform.
  • Oversee code review. Set coding design standards.
  • Work with Scrum master to review enhancements and stories.
  • Recommend new module usage in ServiceNow to align with Mercy strategies.
  • Oversee customer facing portal design.
  • Maintain platform performance.
  • Mentor junior developers.
  • Develop mobile app roadmap.
 

Primary Function Employs a systems engineering approach to design complete and complex frameworks and system and designs at a conceptual and logical level; consults with, or assists Solution Delivery Teams with physical designs as needed All positions in this job family participate, to some degree, in the following activities: Develop strategies, frameworks, and approaches for enterprise-wide systems to align with and influence business needs Working with applicable IT managers, leads establishment of IT Policies, Standards, Guidelines and Design Patterns Analyze marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, vendor products and services, etc. to inform and influence business and IT direction Assists with definition of system and infrastructure specifications, interfaces, working parameters for hardware and/or software performance, function and compatibility Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes; identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses; influences the shaping of future IT solutions by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple solutions or systems

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Eight (8) years of relevant technical or business work experience
  • Required Education: Bachelors degree in related field, specialized training, or equivalent work experience
  • Other:
  • 6 years ServiceNow experience
  • Ability to SQL queries against MSSQL, Oracle, and MySQL databases.
  • Current certifications required: IT Service Management, Certified System Administrator, Certified Application Developer.
  • Advanced coding skills using Javascript and Powershell.
  • .NET or/or Java experience.
  • Understanding of ETL concepts.
  • Performed two(2) minimum upgrades of ServiceNow instances.
  • AGILE methodology expertise
  • Familiar with Windows/Linux system operations
  • ITIL certification
  • Develops technology standards within a single technology domain

  • Develops and maintains architectural standards, roadmaps, best practices, and score cards

  • Responsible for proactive and independent planning, technical reviews, and root cause analysis

  • Work directly with vendor for architectural reviews

  • Researches industry best practices and standards
