DESCRIPTION
We have a position for an experienced Project Manager that will provide traditional project management support including planning, implementation and tracking of both electronic and physical security projects. This position will provide administrative, customer service and project account management. Ideal candidates will also have advanced reporting & data analysis skills.

Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related field, PMP certification or equivalent project management experience is required.

Experience: 10+year(s) business experience with demonstrated successful track record.

Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and influence stakeholders.
Demonstrated experience in drafting project plans, managing tasks, time management, resources, review of drawings and managing budgets.
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, and Word) are required.
Experience with Access, SQL, Sales Force, Crystal Reports or other advanced reporting/analysis platforms is preferred.
Experience with vendor/subcontractor management and/or account management.
Act as liaison for internal and external communications

Participate in cross functional groups to develop and implement plan and goals
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Set up and maintain tracking tools
  • Report progress weekly for each project to Director, Program Management/Engineering
  • Collaborate with Customer Advocates/Sales specific to each project
  • Coordinate scheduling with both internal and external customers
  • Follow up with subcontractors, technicians, and regional managers regarding work progress
  • Ensure submission of documents for timely billing
  • Manage existing sub-contractor relationships
  • Provide detailed project updates
  • Promote a WBS positive attitude and image to the team and all sub-contractors by example
  • Provide leadership and instill high company morale for all employees.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL-MENTAL FUNCTIONS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
  • Able to properly carry 25 pounds or less occasionally. The highest point of any lift - overhead; the lowest point of any lift - the floor.
  • Able to move 1-5 pounds or less occasionally.
  • Able to sit and/or stand 2 hours continuously, up to 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to manipulate small objects with close eye-hand and arm-hand coordination for entire shift.
  • Able to perform motor skills such as grasping, finger manipulation, pinching, bending, reaching out, twisting, turning, reaching up, wrist turning/ torqueing for 2 hours continuously.
  • Able to effectively communicate with customer base, both orally and in writing.
  • Able to see objects closely and perceive depth continuously.
  • Able to understand, relate to, and apply concepts on a continuous basis.
  • Able to remember multiple tasks / assignments given to self and others over long periods of time continuously.
  • Able to travel 60% of the time with notice in most cases
