Patient Services Representative at Annex Teen Clinic

JOB SUMMARY: Patient Services Representatives are the first and last point of contact for each patient that comes to the Annex. As a PSR, you are one of the many faces of Annex Teen Clinic, and serve as a community partner focused in STI risk/reduction services, and sexuality education. To be successful in this role, you must be passionate about sexual healthcare.

SCHEDULE: Our PSR’s currently work on-site at Annex Teen Clinic, and the weekly schedule includes Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 9:30 – 5:30pm and Thursday 11:30am – 7:30pm.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide customer service to each patient visiting the clinic.
  • Check patients in upon arrival; check patients out upon departure.
  • Conduct patient experience surveys to help shape & improve Annex’s services.
  • Help patients to schedule appointments.
  • Provide customer service to incoming callers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICAITONS:
Education and Experience:
  • Background or education in STI testing and risk reduction preferred.
  • Experience in a clinic setting preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Bilingual preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:
  • Valid driver’s license, access to reliable transportation, and the ability to meet Annex Teen Clinic’s driving record requirements. Please note that if the license was not issued in the state of Minnesota, you have 60 days after becoming a Minnesota resident in which to apply for your Minnesota driver's license or permit.
 
COVID-19 Protocols: Annex Teen Clinic strongly encourages employees to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and does not require any employee to be vaccinated. When Annex Teen Clinic work locations are not in areas identified as high community transmission for flu and/or COVID-19, employees are not required to wear a mask while working. We will monitor updates on community transmission rates for both flu and COVID-19 and update our guidelines as necessary.
