Accounting Intern

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
· Participate in the month end close process and financial statement preparation
· Run and update reports as required by the accounting leader
· Create invoices, bills, expenses and understand impact to financial statements and reporting
· Be a team player and take on ad hoc tasks or various special projects as assigned
· Partner with finance leaders to investigate financial trends and share key insights
· Deal with sales and use tax, account reconciliations, tax work papers for US tax return, and organize notices and state papers

Job Requirements:
· Currently pursuing a bachelor/master degree in accounting, business, or a related field;
· Must have basic accounting knowledge (knowledge of financial statements, etc.)
· Experience in Quickbook preferred
· Be detail-oriented and sensitive with numbers
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to commute to the office
· Ability to communicate at all levels with internal departments by email/phone
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Job Type: at least 3 days per week (5 days preferred)

Salary: $1800-2200 per month (for 5-day on-site), depending on the candidate’s abilities

Work Schedule: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm
