HR Operations Specialist
Joining our Russell Investments Human Resources Department means you will be a part of a passionate and supportive team that believes what we do matters to our clients and investors. In this role, you will provide support, information, and services to our global associates. This includes responding to associate inquiries, completing HR transactions in Workday, managing our global HR policies and our HR SharePoint sites, and providing HR operational and administrative support for our HR business partners. You will also support our Learning & Development and DEI initiatives, manage new hire onboarding, and administratively support our Benefits and Compensation teams.

Salary Range: $68,000 - $75,000
Specific compensation will be based on candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The responsibilities of the individual in this position include:
- Respond to associate inquiries regarding Workday transactions, benefits, payroll, absence, DEI, learning, and general HR policies and procedures.
- Process core Workday transactions and support the overall employment lifecycle activities, including onboarding, benefits, performance, compensation, labor law postings, education reimbursement, and staffing actions.
- Manage global HR policies and procedures, facilitate policy review schedule, maintain policy library, and post policy updates as needed.
- Manage the global HR SharePoint sites, continually enhancing the user experience and ensuring all information is up to date.
- Facilitate the end-to-end onboarding experience from offer to day 1, including initiation and monitoring of background checks, sending new hire communications, facilitating new hire document processing, communicating with managers on their responsibilities with onboarding, and conducting onboarding meetings.
- Construct and disseminate quarterly global HR newsletters and other HR communications
- Respond to employment verification inquiries and various regulatory report requests
- Administratively support the global immigration function and global intern program
Required skills and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
- 2+ years HR experience preferred with a familiarity of a broad range of HR processes like recruiting, performance, benefits, and compensation.
- Comfortable with project management and the ability to work on multiple high-priority assignments and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate in an inclusive and thoughtful manner with all team members and build trusted relationships with others.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Professional experience with Workday HRIS preferred.
