  • The Advanced Facilities Technician for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for serving as Lead over a team of other maintenance technicians. Supervise activities of staff as well as assign, direct, schedule & monitor duties.
This position is part of the Facilities Department located in Florence, KY and will be on-site. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Serve as Lead over a team of other maintenance technicians. Supervise activities of staff as well as assign, direct, schedule & monitor duties.
  • Performs inspections of facilities and ensures appropriate work methods are utilized.
  • Participate in preparation and administration of site maintenance budget; submit recommendations and assist with monitor of expenditures.
  • Perform the Installation, Maintenance and troubleshooting of varied electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment throughout the plant. This includes repair and rebuilding mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to work in a highly regulated environment, follow all written procedures and standard work.
  • Utilize existing Computerized Maintenance Management System to document all activities, parts used, etc.
The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Associates degree required-or equivalent amount of education or experience
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Prefer electrical certification
