Summary
Save the Children’s International Programs (IP) division is committed to ensuring that children around the world have a healthy, strong foundation to thrive in life. The Program Quality and Impact (PQI) team’s goal is to ensure that we deliver the greatest possible impact for children, by supporting country programs to produce strategic and high-quality research and evaluation for learning. A key component of our approach is to put in place systems and processes for research coordination and knowledge management.
We are seeking an intern to work across our technical teams to bring our global Research Evaluation and Learning (REL) Agenda to life. The PQI Intern will have the opportunity to engage with leading experts in Save the Children’s key thematic areas and learn about the technical and operational aspects of implementing major research projects in development programming.
What You’ll be Doing (Essential Duties & Responsibilities)
- Provide technical / operational support to Save the Children PQI’s rollout of new Research Evaluation and Learning (REL) Agenda and Research Procedures
- Support experts and researchers across Save the Children technical teams in adopting knowledge management processes by identifying, compiling and uploading documents for strategic research projects to Save the Children’s Research and Evaluation Pipeline, and Child Rights Resource Centre
- Track progress in uptake of new research procedures and provide regular updates to PQI management team
- Assess the alignment of ongoing research portfolio with Save the Children’s REL Agenda.
Required Qualifications
- Must be an actively enrolled Associate, Bachelor, Master or other post high school education program, or have graduated within 6 months of program start date
- Professional proficiency in spoken and written English
- Professional proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with individuals and teams
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering an environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging

Pay: $16.10/hour
