
SORN Intern
JOB DUTIES:
Assist SORN (Sexual Offender Registration & Notification) staff by scanning documents and case files into the records management system.
Data entry, answering telephone calls, compiling, and retrieval of information.
Other duties as assigned.
MAJOR WORK CHARACTERISTICS:
Ability to organize and collect data, research law enforcement databases, address community tips and handle confidential or sensitive information. Must coordinate with other agencies within the criminal justice system. Ability to de-escalate conflict and have strong interpersonal communication skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT:
· Currently a Junior or Senior in pursuing a bachelor’s degree at an accredited university.
Additional Requirements:
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
