We are seeking a skilled GIS Analyst to join our Geospatial Analysis team. The GIS Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing spatial data to support various projects and initiatives within the company. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), data management, and spatial analysis.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
Collect, process, and manage geospatial data from various sources, including satellite imagery, GPS data, and other relevant data sources
Create and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
Perform data analysis and spatial modeling to support GIS and engineering projects
Create and update engineering drawings using CAD software (such as AutoCAD or Civil3D)
Generate maps, charts, and other visualization products to support project requirements
Work collaboratively with other team members, including Environmental and Facilities Engineering
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
Stay current on GIS and engineering industry developments and best practices
Performs other duties as assigned in support of the Facilities Department.
Job Requirements
Mandatory:
The position: requires a B.S. in Computer Science, Urban Planning, or Geography with a minimum of two (2) years of experience or in lieu of degree, six (6) years of related experience.
Must have experience with the following: ArcGIS Desktop and Pro, ArcGIS Server 10.8.1, ArcGIS Enterprise Portal, Microsoft SQL Server, Trimble Business Center, Trimble TSC7 Data Collector, Python/VBA Scripting, Faro Focus Scanner, Civil 3D, and ReCap.

Must be able to pass a physical examination as determined by the NASA White Sands Test Facility and the company for the job classification.
