
Fundraising Development Intern
CL Corbin & Co. seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Fundraising Development Intern to join our team and support our Diamond Scholarship Program. As a Fundraising Development Intern, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager and the scholarship program team to assist in the development and execution of fundraising strategies and initiatives. This internship provides a unique opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause while gaining valuable experience in fundraising and philanthropy.
Job duties & responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of fundraising campaigns and initiatives to support the Diamond Scholarship Program.
- Conduct research on potential donors, sponsors, and partnership opportunities.
- Contribute to the development of fundraising materials, including grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and donor communications.
- Assist in organizing and managing fundraising events, including donor appreciation events and scholarship award ceremonies.
- Support donor stewardship efforts, including thank-you letters, acknowledgments, and donor recognition activities.
- Monitor and report on the progress of fundraising campaigns, including donation tracking and metrics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor databases and records.
- Conduct research on industry best practices and emerging trends in fundraising and philanthropy.
- Provide general administrative support to the scholarship program team as needed.
Qualifications & education
- Currently pursuing a degree in Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in fundraising, philanthropy, and supporting educational opportunities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
