About the Environmental Affairs and Sustainability Internship
Butterball takes great pride in its environmental affairs record and its efforts to be a good steward of the environment.
Butterball facilities track monthly sustainability performance in the areas of waste, recycling, and utility usage (gas, electricity, and water). We have done a full accounting of our Scopes 1, 2, and 3 GHG inventory, with plans to set science-based targets in 2024.
This 10-12 week internship will work directly with the Butterball professionals 35-40 hours a week leading the charge to support our environmental and sustainability programs. You will support the continued implementation of a new state-of-the-art tracking system of our company’s emissions, improve processes, standardize data, and play a critical role in helping Butterball make a lasting and positive impact to its employees and the environment.
