Nike North America Supply Chain Engineering Undergraduate Intern

To ensure this complex job goes off without a hitch, our Supply Chain teams work with a network of more than 50 distribution centers, thousands of accountants, and more than 100,000 retail stores worldwide — making the impossible happen every single day!  

 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

Our North American Supply Chain (NASC) Engineering team is looking for undergraduate interns that will be responsible for assessing and analyzing data and delivering valuable insights to key stakeholders across our supply chain network. We want to make every Nike decision better because of data!  

 

WHAT YOU’LL EXPERIENCE: 

As an intern for the Nike North American Supply Chain (NASC) Engineering team you will utilize your expertise to solve business problems and ensure the maximum utilization of all Nike assets in order to enable global growth for the brand. In this dynamic role you will be involved in a broad range of projects including:  

Continuous Improvement  

Capital Projects  

Labor Management  

Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Design  

You will be exposed to all aspects of the end-to-end supply chain, from manufacturing to the wholesale and digital marketplaces. The Nike NASC Engineering Team develops key resources to move into a wide range of roles and support the growth trajectory of the company. Joining the Nike Engineering Team is a launching pad for careers in the global, end to end supply chain for the premiere sports apparel brand in the world.

This internship – as well as full-time positions – are located in-person at our North America

WHAT YOU WILL BRING: 

Qualifications: 

Enrolled in an Undergraduate program with an expected graduation date of December 2024 or Spring 2025 

Background in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Operations or related field preferred  

0-2 years work experience 

Resume submission (PDF) required  

 

Skills: 

Experience with SQL, Excel modeling, Tableau and/or simulation software is a plus 

Lean Manufacturing, labor management and/or AutoCAD knowledge is a plus  

Analytical skillset, ability to leverage data and information for effective problem solving in a team setting  

Statistical processes experience, or application of statistical methods to identify improvement opportunities and root causes   

Ability to assimilate large data sets, summarize, and identify key drivers for problem resolution 

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, attentive to details, work well under pressure and able to meet deadlines   

Ability to work cross-functionally, influence other teams, and leverage internal and external resources   

Passionate about Nike brand, products and consumers
