Student Trainee - Space Operations - Summer Intern

The Civilian Operations Career Field is looking for a current college junior or first year post-graduate student with a 2.95 GPA to participate in our paid Premier College Intern Program (PCIP).  

This is a 10-12 week paid summer internship during the months of Jun-Aug 2024 at the 12th Delta Operations Squadron (12 DOS), Schriever Space Force Base CO.  

PCIP is designed to attract current full-time college students in good standing with their college/university seeking a dynamic career with the Air Force Civilian Service (AFSC).  

This temporary/seasonal Premier College Intern (PCI) student trainee position is designed to manage cross-disciplinary processes to produce test and evaluation information for weapon system acquisition, operational acceptance, and readiness decisions to enhance space warfighting capabilities.

The PCI will work alongside civilian and military members of Space Force with special projects supporting the mission of Space Force Delta 12.

Upon completion of the PCI program you may qualify for a full-time position in the Palace Acquire (PAQ) Program after degree is awarded.

Established Pay Grade/Scale:  College Juniors with 60+ credit hours start at GS-04 ($16.56/hour), College Juniors/Seniors with 120+ credit hours start at GS-05 ($18.52/hour), Graduate Students who have completed 1-yr in Masters Degree program start at GS-07 ($22.95/hour).
